Joyful Learning EDC was established in 2001 by Amparo Rios, a dedicated parent who faced challenges in finding suitable childcare options for her child with inclusion needs. Determined to make a difference, Amparo conceived the idea of a childcare program that would be accessible and inclusive, catering to the needs of all children. Starting with a licensed family childcare, Amparo embarked on a journey of continuous learning, delving into the realms of early education, inclusion needs, and creating an environment that embraces everyone.
Amparo’s passion and commitment led to the development of a comprehensive curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of children. Recognizing the importance of active participation for children with diverse needs, Amparo implemented necessary modifications to ensure their full engagement with their peers.
